Homemade BBQ is the best way to go! I can't remember where I found this recipe but I've been using it for a couple of years now! Delish!
Ingredients: (Step 1)
3/4 cup ketchup
2 Tbsps Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup water
6 Tbsps red wine vinegar
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1 small bay leaf
Mix all the ingredients above in a sauce pan.
(Step 2)
1 tsp dried oregano
1 Tbsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsps chili powder
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp black pepper
2 Tbsps whole mustard seeds
2 tsp Spice Islands hickory smoked salt
Add dry ingredients to liquid and mix well. Bring to a boil, the simmer for 1 hour over low heat. Cover to avoid splatter. Remove bay leaf before serving.
Enjoy!
